Golf tournament for Camellia Ministries Camellia Ministries is presenting its 2010 annual
benefit golf tournament Friday, April 30, at Quail Hollow Golf Course,
McComb. You can pair up with a
Southern Miss Golden Eagle golf team member. Registration is Friday with
registration 11 a.m. April 10. Entry forms are available by
contacting Karen Pierce, 601-810-4411. Cost for four player teams to enter is
$300, or three players with a USM golf team member is $500. Sponsorships are still open
for prizes including a $100 hole sponsor; $50 shared hole sponsor; $200
contest sponsor for putting, closest to pin, longest drive, etc.); $300 lunch
sponsor; $400 range ball sponsor; $500
outstanding contributor; $1000 superior contributor. There are openings for door
prize contributors. Contact Pierce for details. Free kids golf clinic Mar. 17-18 at country club A free Kids Golf Clinic will
be Mar. 17-18, for ages 9-15, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.m at Tylertown Country Club. Open to boys and girls, agest
9-15, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Participants must
pre-register. Call 601-876-2519 to register. Country Club member-guest tourney March 27 Tylertown Country Club’s
member-guest golf tournament is Saturday, March 27, beginning at 9 a.m. Participants will play nine
holes in the morning and 18 holes in
the afternoon. Lunch will be provided. Males and females are
welcome, and guests will play compliments of members. Contact a member or call
601-876-2510 to be assigned a partner. 3-A champ rings to be presented at banquet Tylertown High School Chiefs
will receive their 3-A championship rings at a football banquet planned Mar.
29 at Southwest Events Center at 6:30
p.m. “We’ll have the ring
presentation, presentation of football awards, and during the meal we have a
professionally done video of season highlights that will be shown,” Coach Jason Johnson said. Tickets for $5 can be
purchased at the school office. |
