Named to Dean’s List

Keshia Dillon was included on the Dean’s List for the summer semester at the University of Southern Mississippi.

She is the daughter of Eddie and Sandra Dillon and granddaughter of James and Loretta Dillon and James and Jerlean Brown, all of Tylertown.

She is in her junior year at USM majoring in political science.

MSU spring graduates

Spring semester graduates of Mississippi State University from the Tylertown area included Casey M. Bonner, bachelor of arts, summa cum laude, 3.8-4.0 average; Madelyn M. Davis, bachelor of science in education, cum laude, 3.40-3.59 average; and Sabrina E. Smith, bachelor of business administration.

USM honors list released

The University of Southern Mississippi has released its President’s and Dean’s lists for the 2010 summer semester.

The President’s List includes full-time students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (all As). Dean’s List scholars are those with at least a 3.5 grade point average but less than a 4.0.

Students recognized from the local area include President’s List: Amy Melissa Jefferson; Dean’s List: Keshia Marie Dillon, Lillie Mae Bates Toler.
