Chief’s Melvin Quinn inks with Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs

Standing with Melvin Quinn, who recently signed with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs, are THS Head Football Coach Osborne Holmes, Quinn’s mother, Denisha Quinn, THS Wide Receiver and Defensive Back Coach Andy Davis, and THS Defensive Coordinator Coach O.J. Magee.

Tylertown High Defensive Lineman Melvin Quinn is the latest Chief to move on to play football at the next level. The 2019 National JUCO Champion, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, extended a full scholarship to the Chief star, and he has accepted the opportunity.
Melvin was a top performer for the Chiefs chalking up 80 solo tackles with 48 assists. To add to that, he had 7 quarterback sacks and 12 hurries. Quinn was rewarded for his efforts receiving All State Honors and being chosen to play in the Bernard Blackwell All Star Football Classic back in December where he accumulated 4 tackles and 4 quarterback hurries.
The Chief Nation is proud of Melvin and wish him the best.
