Dr. Andy Dillon attended the Andrew Jackson Council Eagle Scout Banquet on Feb. 7 and received the Silver Beaver Award for distinguished service to the Council.
“Without so many great people supporting me, I could not have achieved this honor. Thanks to Melissa, Montgomery, and Makinley for joining me on this Scouting journey. We are all Scouts BSA members and enjoy Scouting as a family,” Dr. Dillon commented.
Dr. Dillon serves as Cubmaster for Pack 138, Troop Committee Chairman for Troop 138, Big Creek District Commissioner, and Merit Badge Counselor.
“I was floored when I found out my fellow District Key 3 member Ryan Walker was going to be honored also. We have worked side by side these past few years along with many others to have a functioning District to meet the needs of our Scouts and Scouters. Many, many Scout friends were in attendance and congratulations to all of our Eagle Scout Class of 2019. Next year I will attend when they recognize Montgomery (just need an Eagle Project and BOR). Thanks to Elise Parker for these great photos,” said Dillon.
