Market Max’s bypass location closed for new building

Market Max, the Hwy. 98 bypass location on Plaza Drive, shut down last Monday morning for what company officials expect to be a three to four week period in order to transition to the new building, which has been constructed directly behind the old building.
To accomplish the removal of the old building, construction of a new drive and other incidentals to set up the newly constructed, the Plaza Drive location will be shut down for as brief a period as possible.
Market Max spokesman Jeremy Holmes reminds customers that meantime, the other Market Max location at 91 Old Hwy. 98 East, at the corner of Hwy. 48 East, right across the Magee’s Creek bridge is open to serve you with gasoline, coffee, snacks, the Market Max Deli and other convenience items. In addition, Market Max on Old Hwy.98 serves as your location for Mississippi Lottery tickets (remember to play responsibility, you must be 21, and if you have a gambling problem, call 888-777-9696).
“We don’t want to inconvenience our customers. Please visit our other location as we make the transition to our new, modern building,” said Holmes. “We look forward to reopening as soon as possible, and we know you’ll be pleased with our all new Market Max on the bypass.”
The Market Max company headquarters are located in Tylertown and operate several stores in the Mississippi-Louisiana area.
