Victor Clark, 80, of Tylertown, also known as ‘Jr. Boy’, died June 3, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. He was born March 18, 1940, to the late Victor Sr. and Polly Clark in Walthall County.
A graveside service and interment was held at Tylertown City Cemetery, Supt. Glenn Allen officiating.
Clark attended Walthall County Training School where he graduated in 1959. Victor worked at the Walthall CO-OP in Tylertown. He also worked as a supervisor in New Orleans at Schwegmann supermarket. Clark later in life met and married Emma Hayes in 1988. During their union he worked at Georgia Pacific where he later retired.
He gave his life to Christ at Tylertown First Baptist under the late Rev. Walter Smith. He later united with Holy Temple COGIC under the leadership of Supt. Glenn Allen where he became a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers-in-law. Survivors are three daughters: Sandra Magee, Samatha Chase and Tina (Isaac) McGowan; two sons: Victor Jr., Dwight Hayes; brother-in-law, Rufus (Arbizene) Gatlin; sister-in-law, Anna (Brian) Williams; God daughters: Ramona Williams and Patricia Magee; sister, Martha Smith.
