A funeral service for Blynda Kay Smith, 77, of Tylertown, was Aug. 5, 2020, outside at Capps Funeral Home with James Ochenrider officiating. Burial was in the Rushing Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died at River Regions Hospital in Vicksburg Aug. 1, 2020. She was born June 2, 1943, in Walthall County to the late Lillie and Archie Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Everett Smith; son Stacey Smith and numerous siblings.
She was a faithful member of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church. She was a mother whom enjoyed cooking, making crafts, fishing, reading her Bible.
Survivors include her children Shannon (Kristie) Smith, Christina Smith, Chandler (Bonnie) Smith; grandchildren William Thomas Smith, Jacob Todd Smith, Dillon Shannon Smith, Chase Henry Clark, Maddox Chandler Smith, Lillie Kay Smith, Cora Cathern Smith, Demi Rebecca Smith, and Lana Bonnie Smith.
Pallbearers were Garrett Dillon, Will Smith, Jacob Smith, Dillon Smith, Chase Clark, Maddox Smith, Chandler Smith, and Shannon Smith.
