Etta Ruth McMiller

Etta Ruth McMiller, 55 of Biloxi, native of Tylertown, died July 30, 2020, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 20, 1964, in Walthall County to Edith Quinn Gutter
A graveside funeral service for Ms. McMiller was Aug. 8, 2020 at West Sunny Hill MB Church Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Franklin officiating, interment in West Sunny Hill Church Cemetery, Tylertown.
She united with East Sunny Hill Baptist Church at an early age. Later after relocating to Gulfport, she joined with Emmanuel Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her passing.
Ms. McMiller decided to pursue a career in nursing and became an LPN and was employed at Gulfport Care Center in Gulfport. She was dedicated member of the Barnett-Lindsey Chapter #83 Order of Eastern Stars District 1 and the Northend Court 495-B Heroines of Jericho District 16.
Survivors are her parents, R,D, and Edith Gutter, Jayess; two sisters: Rose Mary (Anthony) Jordan, Hattiesburg and Taminika Gutter, Tylertown; three nephews: Deareus and Robert Gutter and Mariono Smith all of Hattiesburg; niece, Demari Smith, Hattiesburg; six great-nephews: Brycem Braylen, DeKayden, Kyree, Jayce and Kamron; great-niece, Madylen; two God-sons, Dominic and Zimere; many other relatives and friends.
