Leathiel Dillon, 49, of Winona, native of Tylertown, died Aug. 12, 2020, in Jackson. He was born July 13, 1971, in Walthall County to the late Carrie Holloway and Nathiel Dillon.
A funeral service was Aug. 22, 2020, at Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel, with interment in the Lampton Hill Church cemetery, Rev. L. V. Holloway officating.
He was a member of Mt. Canaan MB Church. Later in life he joined Lampton Hill/Pleasant Hill COGIC until his passing.
He graduated from North Pike High School in 1989 and attended Southwest Junior College. He was a bus driver at North Pike and truck driver. He moved to Winona Manor Nursing Home in Winona and later he met and married Gail Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Winona Jackson; brother, Nathiel Dillon, Jr.; grandparents: Eld. David (Quida and Sally) Jefferson and George (Molly) Dillon.
Survivors are his wife: Gail Dillon; daughters: Day (Tyler) Nunnery, South Haven, Detranosha Johnson and Danyetta Martin, Dallas TX, Devetta (Trevanskey) Seals, Henderson, KY; Judy and Linda Dillon, Los Angeles, CA; son: Delarence Collins, Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren; three sisters: Evangelist Jody Holloway, Florissant, MO, Evangelist May (Benjamin) Cotton, Laplace, LA; brothers: Clifton Holloway, Sr., Waynesboro, Rev. Earl (Mattie) Jefferson, Crystal Springs, James (Bernie) Holloway, McComb, Jerry (Trina) Conerly, Austin TX, Eld. L. V. (1st Lady Glenda) Holloway, Columbia, and Roy Lee (Raishonda) Lampton, Bowie, MD; brothers: Clifton (Tiffany) Holloway and Dwight (Nette) Jefferson; step-mother, Kan Dillon, Los Angeles, CA; aunts: Ora Lee Jefferson, St. Louis, MO, Gloria Jefferson, Magnolia.
