Positive I.D. of fire victims made

After weeks of uncertainty, the identity of a second victim of a house fire a couple months ago has been officially established by the state medical examiner.
Coroner Chris Blackwell says the victim was identified as James Mason.
The identity of the other victim, a female, was released earlier by the crime lab. She was identified as Haley Ivey, 29, of Hattiesburg.
The death of both victims was the result of smoke inhalation.
Although authorities suspected the identities of the two victims shortly after the fire, they were forced to wait until the release of the official results as both bodies had been burned beyond recognition.
