Memorial services for Samuel Louis Johnson, 80, of Tylertown will be held at New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church at a later date with Eld. Mickey Myers officiating.
Johnson died at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown Oct. 5, 2020. He was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Tylertown to the late Lovie and Earnie Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his brother Benjamin Johnson.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved squirrel hunting, fishing, and going camping with his grandkids. Johnson was also a long time member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Joyce Johnson, his children Warren (Rebecca) Johnson and Holly (Shane) McKenzie; grandchildren Mark McKenzie and Mason McKenzie.
