Roundup of Salem Lady ‘Cats volleyball scoring this season

Here’s a roundup of scoring this season for the Salem Lady Wildcats volleyball team, showing a 1-7 overall record, 0-2 in district play.
No score has been reported for the two latest games, both with Lumberton on Sept. 23 and 24.
Earlier, Salem fell to Sacred Heart Sept. 22, 3 set to 0. Sacred Heart won the three sets 25-6, 25-11 and 25-13.
The Lady Wildcats lost to Resurrection Catholic Sept. 17, 3-0. No breakdown of scoring was reported.
The Wildcats’ only win of the season came Sept. 16, 3-0 over Mississippi School for the Deaf. Salem won the three sets 25-23, 25-14 and 25-18.
A Sept. 10 loss to Sacred Hart finished 3-0 as Sacred Heart won 25-19, 25-10 and 25-12.
On Sept. 8, Resurrection handed the Lady Cats a 3-0 loss with Resurrection scoring 25-12, 25-6 and 25-9.
Salem went 3-1 against West Jones on Sept. 3. West Jones won the first, second and fourth sets 25-11, 25-20 and 25-13 while the Lady Cats won the third set 25-20.
East Marion handed Salem a 3-0 loss winning 25-14, 25-22 and 25-14.
The Wildcats went 3-2 on the season opener with Columbia. Salem won the first and fourth sets 25-18 and 25-20, while Columbia bested Salem in the second, third and fifth sets, 25-17, 25-22 and 15-13.
