John Badon, 66, of Tylertown, died Oct. 31, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, after a brief illness. He was born July 21, 1954, in Walthall County to the late Ellis Badon and Rosa Thornton Badon.
Services for Badon were Nov. 6, 2020 at Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel.
He attended Spring Hill COGIC. He worked for many years at the Walthall County Co-Op. He never met a stranger, always teaching how to build something and willing to give advice whether you wanted it or not. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, listening to music and dancing.
He married Dorothy Thompson Jan. 10, 1975, and two daughters were born: Chandra Andrews, Atlanta, GA, and Rosa Gatlin, Summit; three sons: Johnny (Carla) Badon, McComb, Jeff (Chandra) Badon, Jackson, and Jermaine (Red) Badon, Summit. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and a great granddaughter; three sisters: Rosetta (Robert) Badon, Linda (Jimmy) Smith and Mae Demple Smith (Willie Quinn); two brothers: J. C. Badon, K. C. Badon special friend and her two sons: Wanda Rubio , Carlos and Brado Rubio.
Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
