Sister Amy Co-Shawn Walker Jackson, 49, of Tylertown, was born July 20, 1971, to the union of Willie James Walker and Marie Walker in Akron, OH. She died Dec. 2, 2020, in Tylertown.
After graduating Tylertown High School, she obtained her cosmetology license from Southwest Community College and worked a number of years at the 98 Truck Stop and Rutter Rex in Columbia.
She was a member of Jordan Temple COGIC in her early years and later joined Dillon Hill COGIC and remained a member until her passing.
Survivors are two children, Antonia and Antwaan Jackson and one special step-daughter, Patoya McArthur from McComb; her parents, Willie James and Marie Walker; one brother, James V. Walker and three sisters, Etta Davis, Lisa (Len) Davis, and Tiffany (Azrito) Mark, all of Tylertown; God-sister, Prencess (Clifford) Dawson and God-brother, Larome Holmes.
A graveside service was Dec. 6, 2020, at Dillon Hill Church of God in Christ Cemetery with Eld. Clifford Dawson rendering words of comfort.
Pallbearers were A.J. Mark, Lendarius Davis, Marcus Keyes, Quintin Walker, Lendario Davis and Oliver Magee.
Honorary pallbearers were Willie J. Walker, Antwaan Jackson, Robert Dillon Sr., James V. Walker, James Dillon, Len Davis and Azrito Mark.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
