Allison Nicole Brumfield Newman, 36, and a resident of Franklinton, died Dec. 23, 2020.
Mrs. Newman worked in the medical field and cared greatly about the needs of her patients. She had been in the same situations, as she was a cancer survivor. Allison battled and beat cancer 4 times, starting as a teenager and her final time at 32 years of age.
She is survived by her husband: Dustin Newman of Franklinton; three sons: Jeremy Bryant, Jathan “Bubby” Bryant, Braxton Newman; parents: Murdock and Kira Brumfield of Franklinton; twin brother: Colter Brumfield of Franklinton.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Athan Brumfield and Freddie Ingram Brumfield, grandfathers W.E. Knight, Doyle Corkern, Ralph Smith, Levon Newman, aunt Tommie Lou Stafford, uncles Cledis Knight, Durwood Brumfield.
A funeral service was Dec. 27, 2020, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Travis Houston and Rev. John Mark Franklin officiating, burial in the Tyson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jay Hardy, Chad Spears, Chad King, Jared Newman, Ryan Ard, Chris Nielson.
Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton was in charge of the arrangments.
