Murphy Jay Smith, 41, of Moselle, died Feb. 1, 2021, from injuries sustained from a major heart attack.
Smith worked for Fedex as a package handler for a year and a half.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walton Smith; grandparents, Murphy Jay and Hilda Smith, Elbert Haley and Wilda Haley Hill; nephew, Zachary Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Tina; his children, Brennan, Santana and Rosie; his mother, Linda Smith; four brothers, Don (Rachel), Fabian, Morgan (Stephanie), and Kenneth; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Andrew, Mckenzie, Adalyn, Allie, Aidan, Dakota, Grayson, Dalton, Patrick, Garrett, Cherish and Charity.
Memory Chapel in Laurel was in charge of the arrangements.
