Seifuddin Bilal
July 28, 1937 – Feb. 24, 2021
Seifuddin Bilal was born George K . Brock on July 28, 1937, to Jerome Brock and Evan McKelphin Brock. He died Feb. 24, 2021.
He began his lifelong career as barber early in life, learning to cut his brothers’ hair as a young teen. They later converted to Islam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter who died in infancy, Huda Bilal; four brothers, C.J. Brock, Larry J. Brock, Julius Smith and William L. Brock; and his sister, Alberta L. Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Wardah Maryam Bilal; two sons, Alim Bilal and Mahdee Bilal; two brothers, Tommie Brock and Billy Ray Brock; three sisters, Bessie Mae Warren and Jessie Mae Brock, and Easter Mae Foxworth.
Washington Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
