Glenn Bridges, 60, a resident of Gulfport/Biloxi, died Feb. 25, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital from complications arising from multiple illnesses.
He was born June 2, 1960, at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He is the second son of Lucious Bridges of New Orleans, and Jessie-Mae Riley-Bridges of Tylertown. The family resided in New Orleans until they relocated to Tylertown in his early teens. Glenn did not relocate again until 1997 with his then-wife Mary Mark-Bridges and two daughters to Biloxi. Glenn was formerly married to Mary Mark-Bridges for 26 years before divorcing in 2007.
Bridges spent his working career in various fields and industries. From 1987 to 1996, he worked as a heavy machinery operator for Pallet Inc. in Tylertown. From 2000 to 2013, he worked in casino hospitality working as a floor tech for IP casino, resort, and spa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Dennis and Lucious Bridges. Survivors are three daughters Sasha Bridges of Gulfport; O’Sheanna Bridges of Biloxi; and La’Dazea Bridges of Biloxi.
Survivors are his children, Sash Bridges, NeAngel Holmes, Francis Minor, Osheanna Bridges, LaDazea Bridges, Sadayshia Bridges, Jysavian Bridges, Janiyah Bridges; three sisters, LaShanda Bridges, Shirley Welsh and Tyronica L. Bridges; four brothers, Melton Bridges, LeRoy Riley, JHacob Williams and Larry Bridges; six grandchildren; two special cousins, Georgia Holmes and Bonnie Washington; four special nieces, Jasmea Bridges, Tyshanda Bridges, Donesha Welsh and Brianna Riley; a special friend, Augustine Causey.
Memorial services for Glenn Bridges were March 6, 2021, in Tylertown.
Infinity Funeral Home of Biloxi was in charge of the arrangements.
