Graveside services for Larry L. Smith, Sr, 81, of Tylertown, were April 23, 2021, at Tylertown Cemetery.
Smith died at his residence in Tylertown April 20, 2021. He was born July 20, 1939, in Bogalusa to the late Ruby and Earnest Smith, Sr. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Deborah Smith; brothers Earnest Smith, Jr. and Charles Ray Smith.
Survivors are children Larry (Nora) Smith, Jr, Leisha Monet, and Melanie Sherwood; grandchildren Tom Smith, Danny Smith, Rohan Smith, Lesslie (Andy) Lawson, Hunter Sherwood, Alex (Bonnie) Sherwood, and Cameron Sherwood; great grandchildren Declan Smith, Elias Smith, and Whitley Sherwood.
He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and cared for the land.
