Ronald Magee, 60, of Tylertown, affectionately known as Rollo, died June 26, 2021, in Tylertown. He was the son of Shedrow and Lucille Guy Magee, born Jan. 11, 1961, at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown.
Services were scheduled for July 3, 2021, at Brandon Bay UM Church, Tylertown, Rev. Andre Tillman officiating, interment church cemetery.
He attended Tylertown High School. Ronald had a love for masonry and was employed by Prestress Construction and the Jackson Bricking Co.
Ronald enjoyed a host of leisure activities including playing baseball, coaching little league softball and riding horses. He was playfully given the nickname “Cowboy” at an early age and was a fun-loving, free spirit who never met a stranger and was often the life of the party.
Survivors are his parents Shedrow and Lucille Magee; one brother Douglas (Ruby) Magee of Jackson; three sisters, Donnis Johnson, Vallery Magee and Felicia Magee of Houston, Tex.; special goddaughter Jillian Williams; three nieces LaToya Magee, Chelsey Magee and Felice Walker; three nephews, Derrick Magee, Gavin Magee, and Mekell Johnson II; a great nephew Deriyus Magee; two great nieces London Janae Magee and London Olivia Magee.
