Pastor Janice Carson Webb, 68, of Tylertown, died July 28, 2021, at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown.
Born June 28, 1953, in Walthall County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Bertha Mae Hammond Carson. Janice was married to Issac Webb. She organized and ran The True Vine Ministries which includes a book store, florist, activity and restoration center.
She loved reading, playing the piano and singing. She received her bachelor’s of science and master’s degrees from USM. She was a school teacher in the McComb School System where she taught history and retired.
Survivors are her husband, Isaac C. Webb of Tylertown; two sisters, Annie S. Walker of Columbus, GA, and Bonnie Carson Scott (Johnny) of Magnolia.
A graveside service was Aug. 1, 2021, at Magee’s Creek MBC Cemetery, with the Rev. Murlon Webb officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment in the Magee’s Creek Church Cemetery.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
