La’Tregion Holmes, 20, of Tylertown, died July 31, 2021, from the result of an auto accident in Pike County. He was born Dec. 9, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center in McComb to Lekeitha Washington and Treginal Holmes.
Holmes attended Tylertown High School and graduated in 2019. After graduation, he worked with Sanderson Farms for three years. Later he became employed with Walmart Distribution Center in Brookhaven.
He joined Greater Power House Pentecostal Church in 2019. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing video games.
He was preceded in death by his great great grandparents, T.J. and Effie Holmes, Bobbie Washington and Cleo Conerly, Geneva and Hermanell Holmes, Edward and Ester Lee Warren.
Survivors are his parents, Lekeitha Washington and Treginal Holmes; his unborn son, Ah’Mir Holmes; his grandparents, Shiron (Morrel) Stewart, Alenica Holmes, Michael Holmes and Wade Warren; special friend, Alexia R. Coleman; three special cousins, Prissy Warren, Kaitlyn Washington and Tamrin Stewart.
Funeral services for Holmes were Aug. 7, 2021, at Greater Powerhouse Pentecostal Church, interment in Tylertown Cemetery, pastor Colia Dillon officiating and rendering the services.
