Angela Michelle Magee, 50, of Tylertown, died Sept. 4, 2021, at Singing River Hospital, Gulfport, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 10, 1971, in Bogalusa. She was married to Robert Magee.
She joined Lee’s Chapel MB Church at an early age and remained a member throughout her lifetime. She served in many capacities including church president of the women mission, member of the usher board, finance committee, choir and director of Vacation Bible School.
She graduated from Dexter High School, class of 1989. She continued her education at Southwest Community College and was a certified nursing assistant for over 20 years with Forrest General Hospital Home Health.
Survivors are her husband, Robert Magee of Tylertown; two daughters, Robin Magee (Donnie Johnson) of Gulfport, Saporiah Magee of Mobile, AL; three sons, Robert Shemar Magee of Tylertown, David (Vania) Magee of Houston, TX, and Jacolvia Brown of Franklinton; father, Lenard (Christella) Lee of Franklinton; three sisters, Ella Rose Dillon of Franklinton, Jennifer (Louis) Tate of Mt. Hermon, Krystal Williams (Brian) Andrews of Fort Worth, TX; four brothers, Lenard (Bonnie) Lee of Tylertown, Christopher Brown, Krisean Brown and Chamychal (Amber) Brown, all of Franklinton; special God-parents, Marvin and Sandra Burks of Columbia; special aunt, Dorothy Ray (Calvin) Finn of Tylertown; special cousin, Seneca (Charlet) Conerly of Franklinton; a special little boy, Kendreus Lewis of Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Conerly Lee; grandparents, O.B. Conerly, Melia Conerly, Ardella Conerly, Aline Lee, and Lattimore Bickham; mother-in-love, Irma L. Magee and father-in-love, James H. Magee.
Funeral services were Sept. 12, 2021, at Lee’s Chapel MB Church, pastor Raymond Gutter officiating with interment in the church cemetery.
