Percy Bryan Kilcrease, 53, died Aug. 28, 2021, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was a New Orleans native born at Mercy Hospital on June 4, 1968 to Jack and Dorothy Kilcrease.
He spent his childhood between Fort Benning, GA, Tylertown, and Metairie. He was a retired Jefferson Parish fireman and also a master plumber owning Kilcrease Plumbing in Metairie for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Curstine; his sons, Bryan and Peyton; and his step son Tyler; siblings, Jackie (Bobby) Lambert and Fred (Rusti) Kilcrease; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and their sons, Brian and Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Anita Kilcrease and Dorothy Boyd; paternal grandparents, Georgia Hinson Kilcrease and Fred George Kilcrease; maternal grandparents, Bertie and RQ Breland, Doris Lambert Lemoine, and Louis Junior Boyd.
Kilcrease had a love for music, especially 70s and Yacht Rocks, concerts, being out on his boat with family and friends, and socializing around the “Hood” on the golf cart. He will most be remembered for his charismatic personality and sense of humor. He loved being the jokester and had a true gift for making others smile and laugh.
An outdoor celebration of life was Sept. 25, 2021 at his home on the lawn.
Bagnell & Son Funeral Home of Covington was in charge of the arrangements.
