David Lenoir, 64, of Tylertown, died on Nov. 15, 2021 at Memorial Select Specialty Hospital in Gulfport.
Born Feb. 4, 1957, in Tylertown, he was the son of the late Leslie Lenoir Jr., and Willie Mae Magee Lenoir. He joined Mesa Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was a handyman and carpenter around the neighborhood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Earl, Eugene Lenoir and Ado J. Woodard; a sister, Ruby Nell Walker; and a daughter, Toccarra Dillon.
Survivors are three sons, David Lenoir Jr., KelPatrick Dillon and LaPatrick (Brittany) Dillon; three daughters, Melissa Badon and Clarissa Badon, both of Tylertown, and LaQuanda Dillon of Pascagoula; three sisters, Dorothy (Lovell) Barnes, Sandra (Eddie Wayne) Dillon, both of Tylertown, Jerry (Terri Ann) Lenoir of McComb, and Mitchell (Beverly) Lenoir of Atlanta, GA; three sisters-in-law, Bernitha Ann Lenoir, Brenda Woodard and Lily Lenoir; special friends, Ida Mae Badon; a bonus daughter, Tracy (Willie) Lane.
A funeral service was Nov. 20, 2021, at Mesa Mt. Olive MBC, with Rev. Patrick Garner rendering the eulogy and officiating, interment in the Lenoir Family Cemetery in Tylertown.
Pallbearers were Roy Walker, Ben Ratliff, Roydarius Magee, Jaylon Lenoir, Ivy Pittman Jr. and Ivy Pittman III.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Lenoir, Monte Lenoir, David Lenoir Jr., Eddie Dillon, Lovell Barnes and Lovell Barnes Jr.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
