N. C. “Dick” Conerly, 71 of Tylertown, died Nov. 5, 2021, at his residence. Conerly was born Jan. 22, 1950, to N.C. Conerly and Sarah Jane Brister Conerly in Tylertown.
He slaughtered hogs and made sausages. He also enjoyed farming and gardening and telling others what was on his mind.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Glean and Warren Conerly.
Survivors are his wife Brenetee Conerly; three daughters, Tammy (Zester) Hodges, Kalynthia Martin and Alondra Esteen, all of Houston, TX; two step-daughters, Tamika Magee of Magnolia, and Shanell (Marcus) Coleman of Fernwood; two goddaughters, Glenda Conerly and Kimberly Bearden, both of Tylertown; one brother, Grover (Mattie) Conerly of Tylertown; four sisters, Inez Conerly and Juanita Slocum, both of Tylertown, Louise Magee of Salina, KS and Zelma (Richard) Pontiac, MI; two sisters-in-law, Pastor Bobbie Conerly and Catherine Conerly.
Services were Nov. 13, 2021, at New Testament Church of Deliverance in Tylertown, interment in Shaffer/Walker Cemetery.
