Funeral services for Robbie Lou Elliott, 79, of Tylertown, were at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home Dec. 29, 2021,with Rev. Hong Yoo officiating, interment at Tylertown Cemetery.
Mrs. Elliott died Dec. 25, 2021. She was born March 15, 1942, in Tylertown, to the late Oral and Lou Elliott. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her former husband Patrick Murphy; sister Sylvia Bond; brother David Elliott; and nephew Bruce Bond.
Mrs. Elliott was a longtime member of Tylertown United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Retired Teachers Union District #25 where she had served as a teacher for many years. She was also a part of the Tylertown Dinner Theatre Group. She enjoyed taking care of her animals, singing, dressing up and going out, spending time in Pensacola on the beach, and getting to make memories with her loved ones.
Survivors include her daughter Megan (Ryan) Andrews; granddaughter Peyton Andrews; nephews Mike (Gina) Bond, Daniel Boling, and Chris Elliott; nieces Mandy Wolf and Joy Moffett; sister Betty Elliott; her “two buddies” Hannah Bond and Jaicie Metz; and special friend Michael Knippers.
Pallbearers were Ryan Andrews, Jimmy May, Bobby Merriel Ginn, and Mo Landry.
Honorary pallbearers were Chim Stogner, Merrielyn Ginn, Larry Bright, Victor Plohetski, and Joseph Packwood.
