Carolyn Helen Rawls Bullock, of the Progress community, died Jan. 12, 2022. She was born in Bogalusa May 17, 1940.
Services were Jan. 15, 2022, at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home, Rev. Brock Burch and Rev. Wayne Hall officiating and burial at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Tylertown.
Survivors are her son, Todd Bullock (Kim), and daughter, Kim Cutrera (Robert); grandchildren, Brandon Cutrera (Sarah Bilbe), Jared Bullock (Taylor), Hannah Scruggs (Mike), and Harrison Cutrera; a great grandchild, McKenzie Scruggs; sisters Patricia “Patsy” Ann Rawls and Dalvis (Bobbie) Rawls.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Charles Jerry Bullock, her parents Sylvia Mare Ladner Rawls and Curtis Cullen Rawls, her brothers Curtis Ray Rawls and Willie J. Rawls, and in laws Jerrye K. Rawls, Patsy A. Connerly, O’Neal Ellzey, and niece Brenda Ellzey.
She was an active member of Silver Springs Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, ministered to young children and volunteered in the nursery. She enjoyed life on her family farm. She also enjoyed gardening and yard work. She was known for her cooking and baking.
Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb was in charge of the arrangements.
