Vietnam War Veterans Day observance Saturday

Tylertown and Walthall County will observe the sacrifices of Vietnam veterans Saturday, March 26, 12 noon, at Harvest Time Guest House, in advance of the actual observance of Vietnam Veterans Day Tuesday March 29.
“No formal program is planned this year, only a time and place for Vietnam veterans to meet, gather and share experiences, beginning at 12 noon, said Alice Richmond, a spokesman for the Veterans Committee, which has organized the event since its inception.
“We’re planning a time of fellowship and want to honor our veterans with a venue that allows them to relax, share a meal together and fellowship,” Richmond said.
Special guest is Glenn Robinson of the Mississippi Veterans Affairs office in Jackson.
No registration is necessary. All veterans are welcome to participate.
