Samuel Magee, 45, of Tylertown, died April 9, 2022, in Baton Rouge. He was born Nov. 18, 1976, in Tylertown to Samuel Magee and Eticia Ann Pittman Magee.
He became a member of Magee’s Creek MB Church at an early age and later attended Dexter Mt. Olive MB Church.
He was married to Subrana Magee July 6, 2002, and they had two children. He graduated from Tylertown High School and furthered his education at Jackson State University and was in the Army Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Andrea Sammi Jo Magee; one grandson, Ayden Warren; and father-in-law, Charles Ray Magee.
Survivors are his wife, Subrana; his mother, Etricia Magee; his father, Samuel J. Magee; his kids, Samuel R. (Aaliyah), Subreonia, Phillip, Ataajah, JaDarius, Samaria and Landon; five grandchildren, Kyleigh Jo, Kyson, Haydence, Ayden and Za’laiyah; four brothers, Manuel (Patricia), Chris (Tangie), Lonell James, all of Tylertown, and Patrick (Shenita) of Clinton; four sisters, Saundra (Victor) of Crystal Springs, Cassandra of Tylertown, VaShauda of McComb, Renae (Corey) of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Brenda (RJ) Ratliff of Tylertown.
Services were April 16, 2022, at Magee’s Creek MB Church, Tylertown, with interment in the Magee Estate Cemetery in Tylertown.
