Wanda Jean Robertson Patton, 68, of Franklinton, died April 22, 2022, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
Born Aug. 17, 1953, in Tylertown, she was the daughter of the late Albert Leon Robertson and Mary Lee Pigott Robertson.
She joined Lee’s Chapel MB Church at an early age and served in the choir and the missionary society.
She was married to William Leon Patterson on June 5, 1976. She retired from Washington Parish School System and loved to cook.
Survivors are her children, LaQuanda (Wilbert) Johnson of Chattanooga, TN, Asha-Tiarra Patton (Damian Hunter) of Tylertown, Daryl (Jessica) Westbrrok of Maui, HI, Darren (Arisha) Westbrook of Columbia, Dajah Johnson of Hackley, Tywania Patton of Chattanooga, TN, and Anthony (Tondra) Patton of Gary, In.; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two God son, Duwune Robertson and Shemar Magee; God daughter, Sabrina Singleton; five sisters, Catherine Dillon, Alberta (Michael) Dillon, Patty Cotton, Janice Brumfield, all of Franklinton, Arleatha (Lynn) Lee of Dexter, Elma (Angelo) Cokley of North Carolina; four brothers, Albert Leon (Michelle) Robertson of Franklinton, Alton (Bobbie) Guy, Ray Charles Guy, both of Tylertown, Jerry Lean Guy of Georgia; a special sister-in-law, Betty Robertson of Atlanta, GA; a special niece, Mary Louise Ponton of Mt. Hermon.
A funeral service was April 30, 2022, at Lee’s Chapel MBC with Rev. Raymond Gutter officiating, interment in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joshua Cotton, Michael Brumfield, Dustin Robertson, Shemar Magee, Codalton Robertson, Ladaryl Robertson, Justin Robertson and Damien Ponton.
Honorary pallbearers were Daryl Westbrook, Duwune Robertson, Wilbert Johnson, Darren Westbrook, Frederick Dillon, Damian Hunter, Albert L. Robertson, Jeremia Burkhalter, Henry Bickham.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
