Letisha Michelle Craft Pittman, 41, of Tylertown, died July 16, 2022, at The Myrtles Nursing Home in Columbia.
She was born in Flowood Sept. 2, 1980, and was the daughter of Charles Craft and Anita Holyfield Craft. She was the pastor’s wife of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Carter’s Creek. She has stood beside her husband for over 18 years in the ministry. During that time, she has taught Sunday school, worked with the youth, lead and sang in the choir, and lead women’s ministry. Every year, she held something at her home called “Christmas Open House”, and the whole community would be invited and she cooked and opened her home to so many people.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Craft; one sister, Lindsey Craft Walley; her maternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Holyfield, and her paternal grandfather, William Craft.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bro. Andrew Pittman of Tylertown; her children, Blayde Pittman, Makensie Pittman, Jax Pittman, and Jace Pittman; her mother, Anita Holyfield Craft of Magee; her brother, Daniel Craft of Magee; her paternal grandmother, Doris Craft Harnage of Magee, her mother-in-law, Trubie Bedwell of Biloxi.
Pallbearers were Bill Johnston, Mitch Pittman, Brandon Wilborn, Tony Darden, Tyler Brown, Jeremy Wilborn, Tim Ricks, and John Amory Darden.
Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Craft, Peyton Walley, O’Darrion Pittman, and La’Damion Pittman.
Services were July 19, 2022, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Carter’s Creek with Rev. Millard Moak and Rev. Rudy Jackson officiating, burial in the church cemetery.
