Funeral services for Barbara Faye Herrin, 79, of Columbia, were July 28, 2022, at Carson Springs Baptist Church in Sandy Hook, interment at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Dr. Jim Futral officiating. She died July 24, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital.
Mrs. Herrin was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Allen Herrin; father, John Collie; mother, Evelyn Scoggins Collie; sister, Julia Sarbaugh; three brothers-in-law, William Herrin Jr., Arthur Herrin, Boyd Sullivan; sister-in-law, Joyce Herrin.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Archie Herrin of Columbia; daughter, Michelle Scarborough (Kevin) of Foxworth; sister, Linda Thomas (Bob); two brothers-in-law, Francis Herrin and Thomas Herrin (Jenny); four sisters-in-law, Sarah Sullivan, Pat Herrin and Annie Lou Polk (Wayne), and Ann Herrin.
Pallbearers were T.J. Herrin, Thomas Herrin, Francis Herrin, and Michael Herrin. Honorary pallbearers were Carson Springs Baptist Church deacons and pastors of the Tri County Baptist Churches.
