Randall “Randy” Ryals, 61, a resident of McComb, died at his residence July 26, 2022.
Graveside services were July 29, 2022, at Rushing Cemetery, Rev. Clay Spinks officiating, burial in the Rushing Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1960, in Walthall County to Elmore and Frances Brock Ryals.
Ryals was a self-taught master carpenter who worked with many contractors in the area through the years. He was also a musician, song writer, and singer.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Eynon.
Survivors are his father and step-mother, Elmore and Norma Ryals; his mother, Frances Horner; his wife, Cindy Carrier Ryals; four sons, Dwayne (Brandi) Ryals, Nicholas Ryals, Vernon Cockerham, and Paul McClelland; four daughters, Cortney Brown, Brandi Ryals, Mandy Cockerham, and Kirstie Cockerham; three brothers, Darrell Ryals (Wendy), Allen Ryals (Michele), and Raymond VanNorman (Michelle); four sisters, Deborah VanNorman (William), Beth Cowart (Jim), Marsha Hodges (Johnny), and Maria Prine.
Pallbearers were Allen Ryals, Raymond VanNorman, Jeremy Wooley, Paul Smith, Paul McClelland, Steve Brumfield, Bryan Ryals and Vernon Cockerham.
Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb was in charge of the arrangements.
