Aaron Jerry Lee Cox, 40, died Dec. 3, 2022. He was born Jan. 1, 1982, to Rev. Jerry W. and Brenda Gail Tyner Cox of Pine. He grew up in Pine, graduating school at Faith Tabernacle Christian Academy.
Cox was a singer and guitar player. He recorded his own gospel CD in Nashville during his senior year and was later featured on the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock CD. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers.
Survivors are his wife, Lashonda Renee Rowley Cox of Stringer; his daughters, McKayla Jordan, Ariana Lenee’ Cox; son Addison Jerry Lee Cox; his father Rev. Jerry W. Cox; his sisters-and-brothers-in-law Pamela G. and Jeff Dykes of Tulsa, OK, Tammy S. and Doug Hickman of Mt. Hermon, Deborah A. and Kelvin Thomas of Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Tyner Cox; and grandparents, Rev. Edward Lee Cox and Earline Cox.
Funeral services were at Faith Tabernacle Church Dec. 7, 2022, with Rev. Jeff Dykes, Rev. Nathaniel Hickman, Rev. W.J. Holland, Rev. John Hair, Rev. Loy Tolbird, Rev. Wesley Jackson, Rev. Mark Copeland, Rev. Nathen Holmes and Rev. Joel Holmes officiating.
Pallbearers: Heath Spears, Danny Brooks, Kelvin Thomas, Jewel Thomas, Benjamin Dykes, Nathaniel Hickman.
Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton was in charge of the arrangements.
