Everstine “Eve” Carr-Magee 74 of Tylertown, MS, died on Dec. 8, 2022, at her residence in Tylertown. She was born on June 29, 1948 to the late Otis and Beulah Jackson-Carr of Tylertown.
At an early age, she joined East Sunny Hill Baptist Church in Tylertown, and later moved to New Orleans where she became a member of Word of Faith Baptist Church; before relocating back to Tylertown. Mrs. Magee was employed for 26 years at Owens Illinios Glass Co.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Alton “Pete” (Martina), Marshall “Butch” and James Carr; one sister Everlean Carr Cage.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Esau Magee; two sons: Darrell E. Magee (Vounder) of Lawrenceville, GA and Tony B. Carr of Dallas, GA; one grandson: Darrell E Richardson of Charleston, SC; one brother: Gary Carr of Tylertown; two sisters: Flossie L. Rogers of Mccomb and Mary Boudreaux of New Orleans; three brothers-in-law: Wilbert (Myrtis) Magee of Tylertown, Jerry and Corset Tucker of Pascagoula; two sisters-in-law: Ester (David) Biggs of Moss Point and Pamela Tucker of Pascagoula.
Funeral services were Dec. 17, 2022, at Craft Dillon Ginn Memorial Chapel, Eld. Luross Carr officiating, with interment in the Tylertown Cemetery.
