Zebedee Magee, 78, of Chicago, IL, died Dec. 12, 2022, at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oaklawn, IL. He was born Dec. 23, 1943, in New Orleans to the late Clyde and Evelyn Lewis Magee.
He was married to Lorrine Turner Webb for 36 years and they had two children. He was employed at Louisiana State University for many years before relocating to Chicago, IL. There he started his own carpentry business.
He was a member of Jacob’s Ladder Pentecostal COGIC where he served as a senior deacon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcolm and Randolph Magee; grandson, Ronnie Magee.
Survivors are his wife, Lorrine Turner Webb; six children, Samantha Davis, Sabrina Magee, Zebedee Magee III (Quanta), Carmen Ann Percy S. (Reginald Singleton), Marvin Magee (Sophia), Angela Magee; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Shelton Magee, Curry Magee (Kathy); sisters, Quentella Livers (Alvin), Willine (Emmanuel) of Stone Mountain, GA, Linda Magee, Imogene Atkinson.
A funeral service was at Craft-Dillon-Ginn Funeral Chapel Dec. 30, 2022, with interment in the Magee Cemetery.
