Register now for Dixie Youth Baseball –in-person or online–until Feb. 23

Parents or guardians of kids playing Walthall Dixie Youth Baseball this year will need to register their child or children until Feb. 23. No registrations will be accepted after that date, a league spokesman said.
Sign up either in-person or online.
In-person sign up can be accomplished with cash or check. See Audrey Stogner at Farm Bureau, Old Hwy. 98 East.
In-person registration is $75 for ages 2-4; $100 for ages 5-12. The fees include jerseys, hats and trophies for the younger age group, and also includes socks for the older group.
All 2-year-old players must be registered in-person and a waiver needs to be signed.
Should you choose the convenience of online registration, a processing fee is added to the total, making it slightly higher. Online cost is $77.54 for 2-4; $103.29 for ages 5-12.
To register online, go to the Walthall Dixie Youth Facebook page and click on the link. You can save 10% off registration by entering the promo code: BASEBALL2023. The code is valid until Feb. 17.
You may also access the registration site on the web by going to: https://app.teampass.com/WALTHALLDYB/
When on the site, first click on “Register Now” inside the player registration banner; second, create an account. The email address you associate with the account will receive future emails about league information; third, answer all registration questions; forth, upload a picture of the player’s birth certificate; and finally, if you would like your child to play up an age division, please select “yes” to the appropriate question. A league official will contact you with more information.
Walthall Dixie Youth Baseball is the oldest continuously operating youth sports program in the county, having organized as Walthall Little Boys Baseball in the mid-1950s. Games are played at Holmes Water Park.
