Charles Wesley Dixon, 69, of Tylertown, died March 9, 2023. He was a retired truck driver and welder.
He was born Nov. 14, 1953, to Sammie Lee Dixon and Marion Frances Adams Dixon. He was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Catherine Lee Drake.
He is survived by two daughters; Jessica Dianne (Rusty) Dixon McBeth, Joni Dixon (Levell) Matthews; seven grandchildren; Louis Brunet III, Ashley Hunt, Jaysen Conerly, Levell Matthews, JR., Madison Matthews, Joselynn McBeth, and Christian McBeth; two great grandchildren, Akzel Wesley Hunt and Delilah Jenkins; one brother, Carl Leslie (Brenda) Dixon, SR.; one sister, Edith Underwood; step grandmother, Alberta Dixon; two nephews, Sammie Lee Dixon and Carl Leslie Dixon, Jr.; and one niece; Stacy Rubio.
Funeral services March 13, 2023, at Enterprise Baptist Church near Liberty, Bro. Kevin Dixon officiating.
Pallbearers were Christian McBeth, Carl Dixon, SR., Sammie Lee Dixon, SR., Louis Joseph Brunet, Jaysen Conerly, Randy Jefferson, and Rusty McBeth.
Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Scott McCartney Jr. and Carl Dixon Jr.
Brown Funeral Home of Gloster was in charge of the arrangements.
