Neelma Craft-Pritchett, 102, of Franklinton, died March 1, 2023, at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville, LA. She was born Sept. 25, 1920, in Tylertown. She was a member of South Columbia Seventh-Day Adventist Church in which she contributed to building in 1983 and remained a member for over 40 years.
She attended Salem Attendance Center until she moved to New Orleans. She married Edgar Pritchard and they were married 75 years. After she married, she attended Katies Beauty School in New Orleans and became a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Pritchett; her parents, Pleto and Bertha Craft; grandparents, George “Percy” (Charity) Brock, Warren and Zadie Craft; one brother, Willie (Eddie) Craft.
Funeral services were March 11, 2023, at West Sunny Hill MBC, with pastor Steven Norman Ⅲ officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment at West Sunny Hill MBC.
Pallbearers were Alim Balal, Makdee Bilal, Torrence Craft, Edward Herron, Tory Ratliff and Byron Craft.
Honorary pallbearers were David Craft, Willie Craft Jr., Jerome Craft, Fredirick Craft, Robin D. Craft and Ronnie Pritchett.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
