Dixie Youth baseball opening day Saturday; first games start at 4 p.m.

Walthall Dixie Youth baseball season opener is Saturday, April 1, at Holmes Water Park. All teams and age groups will play on opening day. First games are at 4 p.m. since the Dixie Youth League is sharing the park that day with the Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg hunt, Kids involved in the egg hunt will start gathering at the park around 12:30 p.m. with the hunt taking place at 1 p.m.
The park will be clear of egg hunters by the first games at 4 p.m. All games on opening day have a 45 minute time limit. The Dixie Youth teams will utilize all three fields at the park
