Tylertown High School boys win 3A state track meet

Tylertown High School boys again placed first in the 3A state track and field championships held at Pearl, according to Coach Myreon Sartin.
Here are the results, as compiled by Mile Split:
100 meter, Jamarcus Garrett, 4th place, 11.15; Kylon Magee, 7th place, 11.17;
200 meters, Jamarcus Garrett, 3rd place, 22.28; Wildrekus Johnson, 4th place, 22.32; Jourdan Clements, 7th place, 23.12;400 meter, Wildrekus Johnson, 1st place, 49,46; Jamarcus Garrett, 6th place, 35.71;
110 meter hurdles, Kendrell Robinson, 1st place 14.55; Jourdan Clements, 7th place, 19.13;
300 meter hurdles, Jourdan Clements, 1st place, 40.68; Kendrell Robinson, 2nd place, 41.10;
4×100 relay, THS, 1st place, 42.56; 4×400 relay, THS, 5th place, 3:4320; 4×800 relay, THS, 5th place, 9:25.64;
High jump, Avery Abram Jr. , 1st place, 6-04.00; Henry Hill, 2nd place, 6-02.00;
Long jump, Avery Abram Jr., 3rd place, 21-03.00; triple jump, Avery Abram Jr., 2nd place, 43-08.75.
THS Lady Chiefs also participated in the state meet. Their results were:

Triple jump, Ebony Smith, 5th place, 32-09.50;
