Alfreda Andrews Warner, 89, of Tylertown, died May 20, 2023, at Walthall General Hospital. Born July 6, 1933, she was the daughter of David Andrews and Johnnie Magee Andrews.
She received her education at the Walthall County Training School. She joined Antioch MB Church as a child and served as benevolent treasurer, senior choir member and home mission member. She also joined Greater Hayes Creek Church.
She worked as a cook at the Elite Café, service personal for the Walthall County Co-operative Extension Service, Ginntow Headstart Center and Walthall Citizens Bank for 35 years.
She met and married Leonard Walker and they had five children. Later in life, she married Dec. Robert Warner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Walker and Robert Warner; son, Bruce; and daughter, Gelinda.
Survivors are her daughters, Lanell (Willie) Boler, Loretta (James) Dillon, Janice (Jesse) Patterson, Carol (David) Daniels and Phyllis Warner; her sons, Robert James, Lucious (Darlene), Graylan (Sonji) and Jerry; 17 grandchildren; one son-in-law, Willie Jefferson; two brothers, Richard (Trudy) Andrews, Jerry (Rose) Andrews; three sister, Lona (Henry) Wilson, Gladis (Willie) Nichols, Dorothy (Roy) Washington; two sisters-in-law, Charlene Andrews and Roshell Smith.
Funeral services were May 27, 2023, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny Williams officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment at Andrews Magee Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert James Warner, Lucious Warner, Graylan Warner, Darril Andrews, Deon Howard and Johnathan Lewis.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
