James Marvin (Jamie) Alford died May 14, 2023, due to a lengthy illness.
Survivors are his son, Benji Alford; daughter, Abby Alford; and son-in-law Nick Martin; two grandchildren, Brody Mohler and Myles Martin; brother Cletus Alford; wife, Diane Alford.
He was born Dec. 5, 1952, in Tylertown to the late Joseph Hardie Alford and Jesse Jean Alford.
He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding.
A celebration of life was May 18, 2023, at Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL, burial in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore, AL, was in charge of the arrangements.
