David Ard, 68, of Tylertown, died June 4, 2023, in Columbia. He was born Sept. 16, 1954, in Walthall County. He is preceded in death by his father Aulton “Mutt” Ard.
Funeral services were June 7, 2023, with Bro. Doug Lee officiating, burial in New Zion Cemetery.
Ard enjoyed going to bible study on Wednesdays, playing with his grandchildren, and loved his animals.
Survivors include his mother Elizabeth Ard; sons Robert Ard (Jessica) and Allen Ard (Kayla); daughter Brandy Ard; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jesse Crain, Keith Wayne Ard, Matthew Ard, Ricky Waldrop, Ronnie Tuttle, and Roy Duplessis.
Special music was performed by Peggy Hilburn.
Hartman Hughes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
