W. J. Dillon, of Tylertown, died June 4, 2023, at his residence in Tylertown. He was born Aug. 6, 1955, in Tylertown to the late S.W. Dillon and Jessie Cowart Carr.
He worked as a brick layer for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jessie Rene Cowart; two brothers, Gralen Carr and Sherman Carr.
Survivors are one brother, Johnny Ray (Yolanda) Carr of Avondale, LA; two sisters, Beverly Carr of Tylertown and Elaine D. Forbes of Avondale, LA.
A memorial service was June 9, 2023, at Craft-Dillon-Ginn Memorial Chapel 12 noon.
