Johnny Ray “Bulldog” Robertson, 63, of Franklinton, died July 8, 2023, at his home. Born Aug. 10, 1959, he was the son of Gussie Lee Bickham Robertson and the late Floyd Robertson.
He was a graduate of Pine High School and was a welder for many years. He joined Lee’s Chapel Church in Tylertown and later joined St. John COGIC in Franklinton.
Survivors are his wife of 42 years, Augustine Robertson; seven children, Chemeka, Leonard, Renard, Raydarrius, Quenton, Logan; mother, Gussie Lee Robertson; three sisters, Brenda, Rose and Inella; a special person, Christine B.
Funeral services were July 14, 2023, at Washington Funeral Home, with Supt. Esco Burton I officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment at Haynes Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Coldalton Robertson, Gary Bickham, Leon Robertson, Ladarion Miller, Adam Bickham, Devin Jones and Edison Simmons.
Honorary pallbearers were Chris Trotter, Renard Robertson, Raydarrius Robertson, Quenton Haynes, Logan Magee, Jonathan Trotter, Leonard Robertson.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
