Since retiring his pastimes were fishing, mowing the grass, burning anything and everything. He enjoyed the time spent with his friends and especially his family, and the camping crew. He also enjoyed helping Mr. Milton with the cemetery, coffee with Mr. Louie and Mrs. Grace. He was always just a phone call away for Lennie to help unload trucks, or take a road trip. He loved all things Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt. He could be found riding his side by side, checking the gardens and animals for family and neighbors and keeping people stirred up. Sunday suppers were special times and he looked forward to them weekly.
