John Wayne Price, 75, of Tylertown, died July 29, 2023, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1948, in McComb to John Wilfred Price and Dorothy Gerber Price.
His hobbies ranged from scuba diving, motorcycles, piloting the aircraft that he and his wife built, and target shooting.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one grandson, Jarrod Price.
Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Amelia Sue Price; one son, James Price and wife Kimberly; two grandchildren, Justin Price and Richie Price; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Justin Price and James Price.
Honorary pallbearers were Bob Grobe and Richie Price.
Funeral servics were Aug. 1, 2023, at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, interment at Reeves Cemetery with Rev. Jess Greer officiating.
Sharkey Funeral Home of Summit was in charge of the arrangements.
