Larry Lerue Williams, 55, of Tylertown, died July 31, 2023, in Hattiesburg. He was born Jan. 25, 1968, to Emma Gean Williams-Wilson and Clark Edward Causey.
He was raised by his Godparents the late Franklin Sr. and Ester B. Quinn. He attended Tylertown High School, class of 1986.
LeRue was married to the late Felicia Williams. He was self-employed, owning Williams Logging. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, the late Clark Edward Causey, grandparents and one brother, Charles Williams.
Survivors are his mother, Emma Gean Williams-Wilson; one son, Kevontae Williams of Pontiac, MI; two daughters, Taniqua Morre of Pontiac, MI and Delmeisha Williams of Jackson; three brothers, Jeffrey Causey and Kenneth Causey of Atlanta, GA, and Thomas Williams of Pontiac, MI; one Godbrother, Franklin Quinn Jr.; one sister, Mary Williams of Dearborn, MI; five grandchildren, Alicia Allen, Havana Moore, Mikko Moore, Penelope Moore and Romeo Moore.
Funeral services were Aug. 12, 2023, at Craft-Dillon-Ginn Memorial Chapel, Pastor Troy Magee officiating, interment in Tylertown Cemetery.
Craft-Dillon-Ginn Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
